Students will sing the Star Spangled Banner before the Angels game.  They are playing the Houston Astros.  The game starts at 6:38pm, but the bus leaves immediately after school.  The Weekly Beat will have details as the event gets closer.

Join this fun and popular annual tradition for Oak Choir!!

Students will be transported by district bus from Oak immediately after school to Angel Stadium.  They will rehearse with all participating choirs, then walk into the stadium together to sing the Star Spangled Banner.  They will then need to meet up with a parent or designee at our seats to watch the game, and parents can take their student(s) home at any point after that.  

Key points:

- this is a completely optional activity open to all Oak Choir families

- each student must have a pre-designated responsible adult with them at the game and to bring them home

- tickets to the game are required for each student and their parent or designee/ride home (there is NO bus ride home)

- tickets to the game are $20 each and can be ordered through us here via the form available for each student under My Account --> My Forms/Paperwork 

- students will need to wear their Oak Choir t-shirts and jackets to the event (these will be distributed in class in the weeks leading up to the event, if your student doesn't have them already)

- Angel Stadium rules about allowable bags are very strict.  Students MAY NOT bring their backpacks with them from school.  They will either need to have someone pick up their bag immediately after school and bring it home for them, or it will be locked in the choir room over the weekend and available for pickup Monday morning.

- we need chaperones to volunteer to ride the bus with the students and help us keep them safe and together while we navigate getting in and out of the stadium for the performance and then to our seats.  Please volunteer if you can!  (Note that taking the bus with us will mean you will also need a ride home.)

- Deadline for ordering tickets was Friday September 12.  We have already picked up our tickets from the stadium and cannot accommodate any more students at this time.
